Visa & Passport Guidance
Visa requirements for Guyana vary by nationality. Some countries are visa-exempt, allowing stays of up to 90 days or more without a visa, while others must apply for a visa in advance through the Guyana immigration portal or the nearest Guyanese embassy/consulate.
- Nationals of many CARICOM countries such as Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago and others do not require a visa for short stays.
- Visitors from countries not exempt must apply for a visa before travel
- Your passport should be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your date of entry.
- Ensure it has at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps.

All travellers regardless of nationality or purpose of travel must complete the Guyana Immigration and Customs Form (Embarkation/Disembarkation Form).
