Visa requirements for Guyana vary by nationality. Some countries are visa-exempt, allowing stays of up to 90 days or more without a visa, while others must apply for a visa in advance through the Guyana immigration portal or the nearest Guyanese embassy/consulate.

  • Nationals of many CARICOM countries such as Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago and others do not require a visa for short stays.
  • Visitors from countries not exempt must apply for a visa before travel
  • Your passport should be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your date of entry
  • Ensure it has at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
